Cazaq: Final Comments and Reflections from the Flight of the Fourth

Ashley | February 25, 2013

It’s been a little over 2 weeks since Cazaq the Eagle took flight the night of February 4th. The reports and response we’ve received have not ceased to amaze us. People’s hearts were moved by the play, which was one of the biggest goals we had. Requests for DVD’s keep coming in as well! [Mid March! Check on the Cazaq¬†The Eagle Facebook page for details!] Not to sound redundant, but it’s overwhelming. We have been so moved by it all, the feelings run too deep for any real words.

Many have been asking “How did it go?” We here were taken aback by the response from the audience (some of them cried!), and the testimonies we’ve heard are heartwarming! Here’s one of the many we’ve heard:

“I did not know if I would even be able to make the play as I was moving from my house the same weekend but with the help of family and my good friends Rosemary and Sheryl, we did as much as we could, then made the 200 mile drive, saw or actually experienced the play, and came home and finished moving on Sunday! It was so worth it I would do it again! Cazaq is a very inspiring story, I know it is going places and many people will be blessed!”

In case you haven’t heard, Cazaq will be taking flight again, this time in the Philippines!

Everyone is hard at work preparing for the trip. Each one is doing their part to raise funds, from selling food to body products, online fundraising, you name it! As the time approaches for the teams departure, the reality of the trip is become apparent to our team in different ways. Cazaq himself mentioned to our team “I’m getting excited for the Philippines more and more as it gets closer.” We couldn’t agree more!

Many of our cast are getting close to their goals, some having already reached their mark, but help is ALWAYS appreciated! Not only are the tickets needed for each member, but there are expenses as well! Food and lodging are some of the biggest expense our team will have, and since we will be performing in several places, we will need places to stay and ways to feed our flock of actors! For those of you who don’t keep up with us on our Facebook Page (for shame!), we debuted sometime last week a NEW and IMPROVED Cazaq The Eagle trailer!

We love you all! Thanks again!
